Sep 29, 2026 – Invited seminar, “What do we do after we have machine-learned everything?”, at the Institute of Applied Statistics and Data Science (IASDS), University of Dhaka.
Aug 2026 – Completed my June–August internship as a Senior Data Scientist Intern at Analysis Group, Boston, MA. Worked on digital-twin machine-learning models, a statistical estimator for inference from digital-twin-generated outcomes, and graph neural networks for insurance claims data.
Jul 2026 – Prevalence of hypertension and diabetes in Bangladesh: identifying gaps in awareness and misinformation published in BMC Public Health.
Jun 2026 – Our pulmonary embolism screening abstract published in the THSNA 2026 Proceedings in American Journal of Hematology, 101(S2).
Apr 2026 – New methods preprint on penalized GEE variance estimation now on arXiv; released the companion R package pgeeVar on GitHub.
Mar 2026 – Poster presentation at Thrombosis & Hemostasis Summit of North America (THSNA) 2026, Portland, OR.
Jan 5, 2026 – Invited seminar, “A Moment-Based Generalization to Post-Prediction Inference”, at the Institute of Statistical Research and Training (ISRT), University of Dhaka.

Dec 2025 – Scorcher project featured in UW Biostatistics News: “Democratizing AI: Scorcher project brings statistical tools to cancer researchers.”
Dec 2025 – Oral presentation at the International Conference on Applied Statistics and Data Science (ICASDS) 2025, University of Dhaka.
Nov 2025 – Awarded a Stuart and Molly Sloan Precision Oncology Institute Technology Dissemination Award ($242,000 direct costs) for the Scorcher project at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center.
Jul 2025 – Received the Quazi Motahar Hossain Award and Gold Medal from the University of Dhaka for securing 1st place in the M.S. examination.
Feb 2025 – ipd R package published in Bioinformatics.

Jul 2024 – Won the ISCB Student Conference Award from the International Society for Clinical Biostatistics. Presented at the 45th annual ISCB conference in Thessaloniki, Greece.
Mar 2024 – Oral presentation at ENAR 2024 Spring Meeting, Baltimore, MD.

Sep 2023 – Received the Dean’s Merit Award from the Faculty of Science, University of Dhaka, for completing the B.S. in Applied Statistics with a perfect GPA (4.0/4.0). Featured in UW Biostatistics News.
2023 – Biostatistics Retention and Success Scholarship, Department of Biostatistics, University of Washington.

May 2022 – ISRT Golden Jubilee Gold Medal Award for graduating top of the class with a GPA of 4.0/4.0, the first student at ISRT to achieve this. Covered by Bangladesh Post.
2022 – Pat Wahl Award ($5,000), University of Washington, for commitment to strategic use of online technologies to reach diverse communities for disseminating education.
2022 – UW SPH Excellence Award ($10,000), University of Washington School of Public Health.
2022 – Government Honors Scholarship (Talent Pool), ranked 1st in the Faculty of Sciences, University of Dhaka.
